Amir Khan has announced his retirement from boxing at the age of 35.

The Briton’s last fight came against Kell Brook in February this year, with the pair settling their differences after a rivalry that had lasted for over a decade.
Khan suffered defeat to Brook that night, who also announced his retirement from the sport last week.
Speaking about his decision to hang up his gloves, Khan said: “It’s time to hang up my gloves. I feel blessed to have had such an amazing career that has spanned over 27 years.
